CHINA HI-TECH FAIR 2016 To Boost Australia's Health Industry

CHINA HI-TECH FAIR 2016 was held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 16 to 21. The exhibitors from Australian Technology & Investment Committee are Pioneer Computer, Convergtel Technologies, RMBpay etc. Guangdong Province PS Hu Chunhua, Governor Zhu Xiao Dan and Shenzhen PS Ma Xingrui visited the booths.

ATIC exhibitors mainly showed high-tech products such as non-invasive blood glucose measurement device, anti-unmanned system, RMBpay, glucose control drinks, magic tooth cream and other health products.

Dr Glucose Non Invasive measurement device was doing on-site test, so more people have awareness and better management for their own health.

ATIC Delegation Visited China, Sep 2016

Members of the Delegation, led by the Chairman of the Australian Technology & Investment Committee, include research institutions and related businesses, such as the University of Melbourne, University of Technology Sydney and Macquarie University.

ATIC delegation has visited Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Zhongshan City, met with the Mayor, the Minister of Science and Technology Commission, the presidents of three universities in southern China and others in charges.

China and Australia will play their respective advantages, in the field of healthcare to reach a comprehensive close partnership and establish a base for healthcare R&D and commercialization.

Australian Technology & Investment Committee (ATIC) has set up 4 Australia-China Technology Parks (ACTP) in China:
1) ACTP Guangzhou (for the market in southern China)
2) ACTP Qinhuangdao near Beijing (for the market in northern China)

Two more are on the way:
3) ACTP Chongqing (for the market in western China)
4) ACTP near Shanghai (for the market in eastern China)

ACTP is offering the following for Australian technology project teams, start-ups, universities, institutes and more:
1) Rent free offices and living space
2) Business matching, investment funds, legal services, sales and marketing

It is an all-in-one park including incubator, accelerator and landing pad with strong local manufactures support.

ATIC in AWIC (Australia week in China) 2016

The Australian Technology and Investment Committee (ATIC) has joined with the Federal Government delegation led by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull in the Australia Week in China in April 2016 (AWIC2016).

AWIC 2016 consisted of trade, investment, education and tourism promotion events designed to highlight commercial opportunities underpinned by the rise of an affluent middle class and the China Australia Free Trade Agreement (ChAFTA).

Representatives of ATIC have met with Australia Federal Trade Minister Steven Ciobo, Alibaba Vice President and officials from Local Governments in China.

During the visit, ATIC has signed up with Beijing University in the development of Technology Park, Research and Development projects and general cooperation in technology and investments.

ATIC Shows The Best Looking Robot in China High Tech Fair Nov 2015



The best looking robot showed up at ATIC's Booth in China High Tech Fair in Shenzhen in Nov 2015, which attracted a couples of key Chinese medias, according to the Chinese media report, the robot was designed to working in the banks, airports and other big corporations.

Dr Zheng from OZ company Convergtel told the medias, the robot is ready for mass production with indoor mapping for office. which is one of the first in the world.

ATIC Awarded NSW Premier's Multicultural Economic Participation Medal, 2015

The NSW Premiers Harmony Dinner has been held in Rosehills Gardens 12 March 2015. Most of the NSW Ministers were present. It was the fourth year with a record breaking attendance of 1400.

In the event, The Hon Victor Dominello, NSW Minister for Citizenship presented 7 Medals to honor the outstanding contribution of community to New South Wales. Among them, the Economic Participation Medal went to Jeff Li, the founder of Pioneer Computers and the Chair of Australia Technology and Investment Committee, the only recipient of the ICT industry.

The term "Technological innovation brings prosperity"is applicable to both China and Australia. ATIC is a strong advocate for the commercialization of technological research and export to offset the easing of the mining boom. The team at ATIC acts as a platform to bring technology and investment together. A number of projects have been developed in China, in collaboration of Australian expertise and vice versa.

ATIC in China High Tech Fair, Shenzhen, Nov 2014

The Australia Technology and Investment Committee will be showcasing their products at the China Hi-Tech Fair in 2014. China Hi-Tech Fair 2014, as China's largest and most influential scientific and technological fair and China's No.1 technology show, will be held during Nov.16-21, 2014 at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (SZCEC). The total exhibition area exceeded 100,000m², with 3,000 exhibitors and over 500,000 visitors from more than 50 countries.

ATIC in ICT Expo, Hong Kong, Apr 2014

ATIC has participated in the International ICT Expo in Hong Kong April 2014. Business leaders and government officials are invited to visit ATIC booth in the ICT Expo, where a number of high tech products were on display from ATIC members. Among the new products were the next generation of tablets, servers, smartphones, robots, Prison PC System and business applications.

ATIC key member Pioneer Computers' flagship solution, the Big Data Terminal, sets to revolutionize the way data is accessed from mobile devices.

Another promising solution -the DreamSign, is a web based digital signage system for Android/Windows devices.

ATIC has joined with Prime Minister Tony Abbott, Foreign Minister Julie Bishop, Trade and Investment Minister Andrew Robb and Small Business Minister Bruce Billson in Australia Week in China 2014, a 700-strong business delegation, held in various cities in China from 8-11 April 2014. It is an invaluable opportunity to promote Australia, build relationships and engage with other business leaders. During the mission, ATIC opened its Chengdu office

Australia Week in China is a government initiative which aims to promote Australia as a trade, investment, education and tourism partner with a program tailored to major industry sectors. The AWIC program reinforces the message that Australia is open for business and genuinely committed to deeper engagement with China in trade, investment, education and tourism.

ATIC would like to dispel the myth that when it comes to technology, there is only a one way street from China to Australia. In fact, Australia has a lot to offer to China in terms of technology developed from our own expert team.

ATIC Delegation in Shenzhen and China High Tech Fair, Nov 2013

By the invitation of Shenzhen government, Australia Technology & Investment Delegation visited Shenzhen on 16 Nov 2013, joining in the seminar as speaker with SZ Mayer and Deputy Mayer and showing new technology at China High Tech Fair.

It is also a follow up visit by Shenzhen Mayer's invitation on his last visit and meeting in Sydney on Aug 2012.

ATIC Present $76M R&D Projects

The Australia - China (Shenzhen)- Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference & Signatory Ceremony was held in Sydney, 7th September 2012. With opening remarks by H.E. Mr. Barry O'Farrell, Premier of New South Wales, H.E. Mr. Xu Qin, Mayor of Shenzhen and H.E. Mr. Duan Jielong, Consul General of China in Sydney, the event was attended by over 400 guests from Australia and China.

As one of the seven members in NSW government delegate led by Premier, ATIC participated in the 30 mins VIP meeting with Shenzhen mayor and his 12 members delegate. ATIC has present its plan to set up a RMB 500M (AU$76M) R&D Centre in Shenzhen to NSW Government and Shenzhen government, Shenzhen mayor warmly welcome and offered great support to research and development projects from Australia in Shenzhen, indicating Shenzhen is one the best technology hubs in the world.

During the Signatory Ceremony, ATIC led Pioneer Computers signed the MOU with Shenzhen 3nod Information Technology Co., Ltd (Public company Listing in Korea) for the joint innovation development of Chinese learning tablet. It has also signed an Cooperation Agreement with Shenzhen Kaki Infotech LTD, concentrating on the construction of the mini-Campus Ecosystem.

ATIC's Invitation to Computex 2012, Taipei, June 2012

Co-organized by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Taipei Computer Association (TCA), Computex Taipei is the 2nd largest computer and technology fairs in the world. With 1,800 exhibitors, occupying 5,400 booths and 120,000 visitors including 36,000 oversea buyers, ATIC see Computex Taipei as one of the most significant platforms to showcase its flagship products to the world.

ATIC's key member Pioneer Computers has been awarded Top 10 Computex Supplier and its products as Top 10 Computex Products both in 2010 and 2011.

ATIC launched Australia Week in China (AWIC) with Australian Ambassador

On the 22nd February 2012, ATIC launched Australia Week in China. The press conference was held in Guangzhou, in the presence of:

  • Grant Dooley, Australian Consul General in Guangzhou,
  • Jeff Turner, Senior Trade Commissioner of Department of Trade & Deputy Consul General in Guangzhou,

  • Wu Suicheng, Director of OCAO, Guangdong Province,
  • Lv WeiXiong, Executive vice president of the Overseas Exchange
  • Association of Guangdong Province,
  • Qi Zenli, Director General of the Guangdong Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission,
  • Lijing, Deputy director of OCAO of Guangdong Province.

Australian Ambassador HE Ms Frances Adamson made an opening statement, participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony and marked the 40th anniversary of Sino-Australian bilateral relationship.

The Australia Week was launched with a month of activities in 15 Chinese university campuses, introducing Australian products and services to 500,000 university students.

During the launch, Pioneer Computers has signed strategic cooperation agreement with Kaki Infotech, signaling Pioneer Computers'entry into the Chinese retail market, with Kaki as distributor.

Kaki has a significant presence in major universities, having opened 30 sales outlets in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Chengdu, Nanjing. Up to 80 sales outlets will be opened by the end of the year across the country.

Pioneer Computers strategic partnership with Kaki set another milestone in its development of the Chinese market.
